NYCC 2011 Commission - Lex Luthor by Jeremy Dale
Slightly embarrassing, fangirly note: Whoa hey there muscly, sexy Luthor, all pulling your tie off and getting ready to jump in that suit. I uh…. so many sexy feelings for one of my favorite villains right now, you balding hunk of… I’ll stop.
I knew going into NYCC that I was gonna request an artist to draw me a Luthor, but I wasn’t sure who. I was wandering around Artist Alley when I saw Jeremy and his wife at his booth, and knew INSTANTLY that yeah I was gonna ask him.
And boy, did he ever do a fantastic job on it. Jeremy is one of those artists that fills up the page on his commissions. I just asked for Lex, I didn’t request the battle suit, or the background office, or even the snarky thought bubble. He did that all on his own.
If you ever see Jeremy at a con, do consider asking him to draw you something. It’ll be amazing, and probably very funny. He’s an extremely talented artist who I always love to see at these conventions.
